Welcome to Restore Justice Santa Rosa, a community-driven organization dedicated to advocating for criminal justice reform, supporting impacted families, and fighting for fairness, equity, and healing in Santa Rosa and beyond.
We believe in a justice system that prioritizes rehabilitation over punishment, addresses systemic inequities, and centers the voices of those most affected by incarceration and wrongful convictions.
Our Mission
Our mission is to:
✔ Advocate for policy changes that promote restorative justice and reduce mass incarceration.
✔ Educate the public on injustices within the legal system through workshops, storytelling, and data-driven research.
✔ Support formerly incarcerated individuals and their families with reentry resources, legal aid, and mental health services.
✔ Amplify the voices of survivors, incarcerated people, and families harmed by systemic failures.
Our Work
- Policy Reform: Lobbying for fair sentencing laws, parole reform, and ending cash bail.
- Community Outreach: Hosting events, vigils, and town halls to raise awareness.
- Reentry Programs: Providing job training, housing assistance, and counseling.
- Legal Advocacy: Assisting with wrongful conviction cases and clemency petitions.
- Youth Engagement: Mentorship programs to break the school-to-prison pipeline.
